This took me just over a week doing 2-3 hours a night. I drew the shark from a reference photo but made up the water effect at the top myself as well as adding a few small fish at the bottom to give the pic more life. I used Steadler 2B, HB, B, 2B, 4B and 0.5 B mechanical pencil on Daler Rowney A4 paper, blending stumps, cotton wool balls and kneadable eraser
Great work Alex x
Wow, how cool!
Awesome shark drawing. I like the way you shade the water's light reflection on the beast's snout and back. Its beautiful.
Just Incredibly Done A Masterpiece here. Just Amazing.
Thanks, i'm glad you like it so much
Just Amazing, I thought it was a photo. You did a Fantastic Job. Real Art Skills you have.
Nice work !! beautiful animal
this is very photo-realistic and the little fish are a nice touch.
Thank you I dont like the fish i did on the far left though, it didn't come out right
FANTASTIC! The detail and texture under the snout and along the medial line, in particular, is incredible. STUNNING work!
Looks amazing, very real!
God you've made me all in love with sharks all over again...
Haha thanks, thats a good thing
depends on how you look at it. I was referred to as "the freak with the shark book" but I was pretty chill. Lovely piece btw, everyone I show it to doesn't believe it's drawn. (Must be a British thing)
Awesome work, it looks very real, scary maybe in the first moment!
Thank you im glad you think it looks real. I think they are misunderstood like a lot of animals. I would love to see one someday
Great work here, it has so much depth! Love all the detail and how you made the tail blurry and the nose in focus. The reflections turned out great
Nicely-rendered shark, but the little fish were a mistake. They flatten it out really bad.
